Brandi passante made an instant celebrity after her appearance on A&E's Reality Show 'StorageWars.' It also was a part of Jarrod Schulz, who was Passante's partner who dated her for a long time and is now her husband. Storage lockers whose owners haven't paid their rent for the last three months, are auctioned off during this show. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction hoping to acquire storage units at low prices. They had no idea that this show was going to turn them into reality TV celebrities! Through the show, the couple proved to be very tactful bidders, and eventually emerged as the main characters of the show. The success of the reality show helped boost their business and they were able to start a new shop addition to their existing shop that they were running. They also appeared as the protagonists of a spin-off TV show called 'Brandi & JARROD: Married to the Job.'
